Heritage Park – Irvine
Heritage Park is a great place to PLAY. This ocean themed park has water fountains, age designated play areas, and plenty of picnic tables for lunch. You’ll also enjoy the many sports courts located here. They include basketball courts, soccer fields, tennis courts, a volleyball court, and racquetball courts. Don’t forget to also check out the playgrounds and swing sets.

Tiny Tot Wading Pool- Brenner Park
If you have children that are 6 years and under, Tiny Tot Wading Pool is the perfect place for them to cool off and beat the heat. This mini pool made for kids is 25 feet long and 1-2 feet deep. Not only can your children PLAY in the water, they can also make new friends too! Admission is FREE!

Lemon Park Spray Pool- Fullerton
This spray pool is open to all ages and the only must is that you wear a bathing suit. Beat the heat by having fun as you safely PLAY around exciting water spouts. Make sure to catch the fun before the end of the season. “The Spray Pool is open daily, May 31 through August 7 and weekends only through September 25 (plus Labor Day, Monday, September 5) from 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. Remember, you must wear a bathing suit to play in the Spray Pool” (City of Fullerton).

Turtle Rock Nature Center- Irvine
Turtle Rock Nature Center takes PLAYing to the next level by allowing you and your family to explore the great outdoors. Here you can find baby swings and bench swings for older children, soft surfaced PLAYing areas, and plenty of grassy areas for running around. Also the center is, “both a home for wildlife and an outdoor classroom where visitors and program participants learn to protect our natural environment. Visitors can explore the nature center at their leisure, or take a self-guided trail walk during regular operating hours” (City of Irvine).
